The Young AICC held our first lunch for 30 young professionals in the property industry, with Keynote Speaker John Hudson, State Director, Institutional Property Group at ANZ Bank. The property industry is in a period of turbulence, especially in regards to funding, which is having ramifications across the entire development industry. John shared his insights and reflections on the market, on institutional lending and other relevant issues. Thanks to the team at Arnold Bloch Leibler for hosting us.

On February 6 we hosted our second Boardroom Series with Keynote Speaker Professor Boaz Golany, from the Technion, Israel's Institute of Technology.
Prof. Golany is among Israel’s leading authorities on Homeland Security and Counter-Terrorism, Academic Research and Commercialisation, and Industrial Engineering. He shared some of the ground-breaking research and innovation coming out of Israel and the Technion.

It was a rare opportunity to hear Hugh's insights and reflections on the market and to participate in a round-table discussion with other emerging leaders in the space. On May 22, we hosted another industry event as part of our Boardroom Series and this time it was breakfast with Carolyn Creswell, Founder & CEO of Carman's Kitchen. We were fortunate enough to visit the beautiful kitchen and have some muesli while hearing about Carolyn’s exceptional journey from founding the company in 1992 as an 18-year old university student and running the business from home, to leading what’s become a thriving multi-million-dollar business, now expanding into Asia.
A huge thank you to Carolyn, for sharing her story, offering us sage advice and giving us a taste of what Carman’s is all about.
